Gloria Trisciuzzi

Who is Gloria?

I am a girl born in a small town in the south of Italy who likes to stick her nose in everything because I believe that each new thing I learn will be useful to me at some point in my life.

When I was 18 years old I enrolled in the Faculty of Foreign Languages with the sole intention of being able to talk to as many people as possible in the world. 10 years and 5 languages later, I can say that my plan is moving forward in the best possible way, so… how is it possible that we haven’t met yet?

What motivates you?

About a year ago, a young man I met on a short training course wrote to me verbatim: ‘You are a force of nature, or rather, a storm that passes through, shakes people and goes away, leaving its mark’.

I don’t do things just for the sake of it, I like to put my whole self into it, even if it’s just to prepare a simple dish of pasta (yes, pasta, I’m Italian!).

The desire to always do better and never be satisfied is what motivates me every single day of my life.

Why Contextos?

The relationship between Contextos and me seems almost like a modern love story that started as a joke.

I met the members of the Contextos team informally, you know, friends of friends. We shared the same ideas, the same interests and, coffee after coffee, today I find myself part of this wonderful group.

A multi-ethnic team made up of young people who are passionate about what they do and ready to erupt like a volcano with a thousand daily ideas based on years of individual work experience is what, more than anything else, drove me to join Contextos.

What is your part of the team?

I started this adventure with a “Hey Jorge, I’d like to learn how to write a project” and that was it.

I take care of everything related to our past, present, and especially future projects, the last ones are always the most exciting because you never know what’s waiting for you around the corner!

But let me be more specific: planning, monitoring, and implementing project activities, communicating with partners, and ensuring that the objectives are achieved in accordance with the principles of the cooperative and the funding programs, that’s what I do!

Not bad at all, is it? One sure thing, it never gets boring!

What is your superpower?

I believe that my superpower is Positivity and the lethal weapon with which I defeat my enemies is definitely my smile.

People ask me how I manage to laugh all the time … I honestly still don’t understand if I do it because I really want to or if it’s just a simple muscular contraction.

Joking aside, I really believe that having this positive way of living life can also help the people around me to discharge their negative energies.

If that doesn’t work, I can always make a Carbonara.
